Submissions for the Wotton Kearney Turning Point 2026/27 Competition are now officially open!

Now expanded for 2026/27, Turning Point is Wotton Kearney’s global writing competition for Property, Energy and Infrastructure (PE&I) insurance professionals.

The competition invites both established professionals and emerging talent to explore the transformative trends and disruptive issues shaping the future of the PE&I insurance sector through to 2030 and beyond.

Turning Point now features two competitive streams: a Senior Stream for professionals with five or more years’ industry experience, and an Emerging Professional Stream for professionals with under five years’ industry experience.

Prize and Learning Package

The 2026/27 Turning Point Competition awards one Winner from each stream AUD $8,000 towards attending an approved global Property, Energy and Infrastructure conference of their choice. Two Runners Up from each stream will also receive AUD $2,000 in travel vouchers.

A key part of the program is the opportunity for all six Finalists to work alongside senior Wotton Kearney PE&I lawyers to develop their submissions into internationally published white papers. Finalists will also benefit from valuable personal profiling opportunities, with their white papers published and promoted throughout Wotton Kearney’s global PE&I insurance network and digital channels.
