In October 2017, Wotton Kearney expanded into New Zealand.

Antony Holden led the New Zealand practice as Managing Partner, with the firm listed as a Tier One firm in The Legal 500 for Insurance Law. A team of six partners and 11 insurance lawyers – recognised as some of the best in New Zealand – joined WK, bringing a wealth of local knowledge and insurance expertise from offices in Auckland and Wellington.

Today, with Antony continuing his leadership, the firm has grown to over 115 professionals across four offices: Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga and Christchurch. The Christchurch office opened in 2024, and Tauranga became our fourth New Zealand office in early 2026.
