The Wotton Kearney Turning Point 2026/27 Competition is opening shortly!

Launching in July, Turning Point is Wotton Kearney’s global writing competition for Property, Energy and Infrastructure (PE&I) insurance professionals. Now expanded for 2026/27, the program challenges both established professionals and emerging talent to identify and explore transformative trends shaping the future of PE&I insurance – with a focus on themes that will define the sector through to 2030 and beyond.

Prize and learning package

The competition features two streams: Senior (five or more years’ experience) and Emerging Professional (under five years’ experience) – and is open to insurance professionals worldwide. Winners from each stream will receive AUD $8,000 to attend a global PE&I conference of their choice, with Runners Up receiving AUD $2,000 in travel vouchers.

Six finalists (three per stream) will co-author a publishable white paper with a PE&I lawyer from Wotton Kearney, distributed internationally across our global PE&I insurance network – providing outstanding market profile and exposure.

Judging

Entries across both streams will be evaluated through a two-stage judging process. Both the initial submission and the white paper will be assessed by a judging panel comprising:
