Sophia is a solicitor based in the Financial Lines team of our Auckland office. This sees Sophia involved in a range of civil or professional liability claims, particularly involving construction professionals or solicitors. Sophia assists with medico-legal matters also.
- Providing secondary assistance to the drafting of responses to the Medical Council of New Zealand and pleadings to be filed in the Health Practitioner’s Disciplinary Tribunal.
- Assessing insurance coverage for various professional indemnity matters.
- Assisting senior lawyers with trial preparation and general litigation support.
- Drafting procedural documentation and conducting legal research and discovery.
