Renee is a dedicated human rights advocate specialising in strategic litigation. Having previously worked in insurance law and social justice class actions, Renee is an accomplished litigator with a focus in refugee rights, modern slavery, climate justice, disability, and discrimination law.

Renee brings a practical and community-led approach to her work, developed from her secondments at the Human Rights Law Centre, the Refugee Advice and Casework Service, Community Legal Centres Australia, and the Australian Centre for Disability Law. She regularly volunteers for human rights organisations and community legal centres including Kingsford Legal Centre, Seniors Rights Service, and Lou’s Place.

Renee holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales, and is currently completing a Master of Science in International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford.
