Alex is a lawyer in the Financial Lines team, specialising in Employment Law, Professional Liability and Litigation. She advises insurers, insureds and underwriters in New Zealand and international markets. Alex has represented clients before the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court, and has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and facilitation.

- Advising and representing employers and employees in all manner of employment disputes. This includes performance management processes, investigations and disciplinary processes, forensic investigations and restructures.
- Assisting clients to raise and defend against legal claims, including personal grievances, bullying and harassment claims, breaches of contract claims, and human rights claims.
- Representing clients at mediation in relation to employment relationship disputes and human rights disputes.
- Assisting senior colleagues in civil litigation, including applying to the Employment Court for Freezing Orders.
- Representing clients in relation to claims that have been lodged in the Employment Relations Authority, Employment Court and Human Rights Commission.
