Wotton Kearney has strengthened its insurance capability in Melbourne with the appointment of Partner Claire Gomo and Special Counsel Andrew Karasmanis.

Joining our general liability team, Claire and Andrew bring extensive experience advising insurers, employers and corporate clients across a broad range of complex injury, liability and recovery matters.

Claire is recognised for her expertise in personal injury, workers’ compensation, public and product liability, occupiers’ liability and latent claims. She is particularly well known for her work in complex dust and occupational disease litigation, acting for employers, occupiers and asbestos and silica product manufacturers.

Andrew specialises in personal injury litigation and has significant experience advising on workers’ compensation, dust disease, public liability and recovery claims. He is known for his practical, commercial approach to managing complex matters and helping clients navigate challenging claims environments.
