Connect with meTori is a solicitor who primarily works on liability matters, with a strong focus on professional indemnity, privacy and general liability. She has assisted with the defence of Insurers and Insureds in a wide range of professions including solicitors, accountants, health care professionals and small to medium enterprises.
Her experience includes several regulatory and statutory compliance matters, defending prosecutions, and assisting on indemnity matters. Tori is also a member of the Cyber + Technology team, responding to cybercrime and privacy incidents, including events with multi-jurisdictional impacts.
- Assisting insurers and their clients in professional indemnity claims brought against solicitors, accountants and health care practitioners.
- Providing secondary assistance to the Cyber product line by undertaking document reviews of exfiltrated data, and assessing notification obligations and privacy liability
- Preparing reports and providing indemnity and liability advice to insurers and their clients across a range of product lines including Financial, Cyber, Employment and Casualty Lines.
- Assisting senior lawyers in respect of both Environmental and Employment investigations and prosecutions.
