Theo acts for insurers and their clients on subrogated recovery actions, construction related matters and maritime law. He also assists in defending professionals and acts for construction professionals, surveyors, insurance brokers and property professionals.
Theo worked in-house at a major insurer in response to the Auckland Floods and Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023. During this period, Theo gained experience dealing with a high volume of material damage and business interruption issues and aspects of reinsurance.
Theo is the current treasurer of the Maritime Law Association of Australia and New Zealand (MLAANZ), member of Young Insurance Professionals (YIPS) and tutors equity and torts at the University of Auckland law school.

- Pursuing subrogated recovery claims for insurers and insureds, including fire damage to commercial buildings, and claims against manufacturers of defective products as well as builders, contractors, and project managers for defective repairs.
