Kirsten has more than 20 years’ experience in general liability insurance litigation and claims management with a particular focus on public liability insurance and personal injury litigation. She has extensive experience advising local and overseas underwriters in this field, including advice on policy interpretation and indemnity issues.

Kirsten works closely with insurers and their insureds to manage a wide variety of claims, including large multi-party disputes that straddle the WCRA and PIPA regimes. She has represented the interests of principal contractors, subcontractors, sporting associations, shopping centre owners, cleaners and security contractors.

Kirsten has considerable experience working for a Lloyd’s approved Delegated Claims Administrator, providing her with a unique perspective on the interests of the various stakeholders involved in the claims which she manages and an appreciation of the need to tailor advice and communications to suit the needs of those stakeholders. Kirsten’s experience also includes acting for a statutory workers’ compensation authority and large self-insureds in both the mining and retail sectors. She prides herself on her customer service and ability to offer clear, concise and pragmatic advice.
