Wotton Kearney has announced 29 promotions effective 1 January 2023 in Australia and New Zealand, including new partner Nicole Gabryk in the firm’s rapidly growing cyber team. The latest promotions take W+K’s numbers to 67 partners and more than 350 dedicated insurance lawyers across eight locations.
Nicole Gabryk (Cyber, Privacy + Data Security, Sydney) has significant experience in advising on all aspects of cyber insurance, ranging from responding to cyber breach incidents around the world and implementing strategies to mitigate liability risks, through to defending complex litigation arising from data breaches. Nicole, who is dual qualified and moved to Australia from South Africa, has advised on cyber incident response management for breaches occurring around the world, including in Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Mauritius, Lesotho, the UK and Europe (under the GDPR).
