Sian-Louise has broad experience in insurance litigation and dispute resolution, predominantly dealing with public liability and healthcare law. Throughout her career, Sian-Louise has represented clients in public liability, medical negligence, workers compensation and defamation law.
Sian-Louise has acted for a diverse range of clients and instructs and frequently appears before the Supreme Court of NSW and District Court of NSW. Most notably, early on in her career, Sian-Louise gained experience representing her client in the Court of Appeal. She has also appeared before the Personal Injury Commission.
Sian-Louise has worked in-house for a government agency and has spent time seconded to one of Australia’s largest professional indemnity insurers, where she had carriage of complex professional negligence files, as well as carriage of significant claims for damages and complex investigations by oversight bodies. She is well-versed in the specific priorities and objectives of both the public and private sector in resolving claims.
Sian-Louise adopts a pragmatic approach towards conducting litigation, always striving for the best outcome for her clients. She has conversational fluency in Spanish and Bisaya, a dialect of the Philippines.
