Seth has experience advising and defending public and private sector clients in a variety of matters including intentional tort, common law negligence, public liability and personal injury claims. He acts primarily on behalf of government entities including police, education and child welfare agencies.
Seth is a passionate advocate for social justice, having volunteered at the Aboriginal Legal Service, Refugee Legal Clinic, Justice Connect, Kingsford Legal Centre and participated in other pro bono research projects.
- Successfully defending and advising a government agency with respect to intentional tort claims in a variety of matters including false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and abuse of process.
- Acting for and advising a government department in numerous unlitigated and litigated claims in relation to allegations of sexual and physical abuse by its employees working in residential, educational and juvenile justice institutions.
- Acting for and advising a government department in claims in relation to allegations of bullying, sexual abuse, and discrimination on the grounds of disability and race.
- Acting for and advising a government agency in catastrophic injury claims following alleged road design defects and maintenance issues.
- Assisting in the defence of clients in the retail and hotel sector against personal injury claims including work injury and slip and fall claims.
- Assisting in advising a statutory state-owned corporation in property damage claims.
