Noon previously acted as a prosecutor on cases before the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal and has held several in-house roles with health, legal, real estate and public sector regulators. She has also worked as an investigator in substantial investigations into governmental ministries, and separately involving conduct of health practitioners. Noon’s regulatory and public sector experience means she provides valuable insight and perspective for her clients.

Managed and handled litigation matters, including advising on evidential sufficiency, drafting misconduct charges, preparing submissions, attending hearings before the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal. Assisted General Counsel on managing legal risks. Participated in Complaints Improvement Project.
  • Acted as a prosecutor for Professional Conduct Committees for the Medical Council, Psychologists Board, Pharmacy Council, Physiotherapists Board, Chiropractic Board. Prepared evidence and attended hearings before the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. Provided legal advice on name suppression, strength of evidence for conduct issues, decision making processes. Advised health sector providers on informed consent and information sharing. Acted for ACC on reviews and appeals.
  • Investigated administrative practices of the Ministry of Health and Oranga Tamariki.  Led the investigation and analysis of evidence. Advised the Chief Ombudsman on strategy and risks, legal issues, and policies and procedures.
