Melissa advises and defends insurers across a range of product lines including D&O, Financial Institutions, Professional Indemnity, Fidelity & Crime, Cyber and Product Recall. She also advises insurers on policy drafting in these product lines.

She also specialises in cyber incident response, advising on data protection issues and obligations, notifications to regulators and contractual parties, and other regulatory and strategic matters arising from cyber incidents. She has managed several large-scale and complex cyber incidents in the region for cyber incidents, including those involving ransomware, business email compromise and phishing.

She started her practice in medical malpractice litigation where she has advised and defended medical professionals (including doctors, nurses, allied healthcare workers) and healthcare institutions (including public and private hospitals and clinics).

Melissa graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2021 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2022.
