She acts for London underwriters and Australian insurers in claims arising in a variety of settings, including shopping centres, hotels, contract cleaners, security and building and construction sites. Maddy also has experience in acting for head contractors and labour hire providers in complex multi-party matters.

As a lawyer, Maddy acted for various NSW Government Agencies including the NSW Land and Housing Corporation. During her time acting for NSW Land and Housing, Maddy achieved extremely favourable results for the client, including instances where the client avoided having to make any commercial contribution towards settlement.

In 2024, Maddy was seconded to Allianz Australia for a six month contract where she handled and managed over 150 active claims involving personal injury and property damage.
