He further assists Insurers with the provision of coverage advice where necessary. Filip also has specialist expertise in workplace disputes, and construction disputes, having pivoted from a mixed litigation practice at a large New Zealand commercial law firm. Filip advises insurers, insureds, employers, and underwriters in New Zealand and the international market.
Filip is a detail-oriented lawyer and a big-picture pragmatist, utilising both skill sets to help clients reach commercially sensible solutions to their legal issues. As a problem solver, he enjoys the satisfaction that comes with working on complex, intellectually demanding matters and seeing them through to resolution.
Having previously provided his services to community law centres in South Auckland, Filip is keen on improving access to justice through Wotton Kearney’s pro bono programme.
